Anyone have a preference or comment on which one is best?

Bought an older laptop with 120gb SSD and need more storage. I could either buy a larger SSD (1tb) or one of these to store my photos, videos, and music.

I have used all except the WD drives, they are all good drives for a backup.

As mentioned above, anything you don't want to lose, you should have multiple backups.

I have had the Toshiba Canvios, they have always been solid for me.

I've had the seagate 2TB one since 2015 and have had zero issues with it. The seagate software on the other hand is a bit janky. But you don't *need* it

1TB and 2TB are found at these prices daily. But the others are good.

Yes, is super easy to setup. I use a Toshiba convio on my XBO. Just follow the instructions on Xbox/MS web page.

What would be the slick price on 1tb and 2tb? I'm in no rush to get one.

You will save an extra $3.00 perhaps around black friday.

Or there might be some walmart clearance in your area. Hard to predict.
