One set with an additional sensor. For that, if you have a Sams membership, it's $68.

One hub can accommodate two sensors.
Is the sam's deal in-store or online cause i didn't see anything in my local store..

In store. There is a separate deal post on SD for it, but nobody noticed it. Both my local stores in N TX had them.

My question is if you have a MyQ capable garage door opener but it has no wifi can you buy this $50 device and will it work or do you need to buy the $69+shipping + tax Home Bridge? I'd rather buy the cheaper $50 item but I'm not sure it will work with the MyQ liftmaster opener I have since it would be duplicating the MyQ feature.
Amazon has the gateway that I have for about $55. (Labeled for liftmaster... Mine is labeled Chamberlain). It's been flawless but it doesn't work with homekit, the more expensive one I think will do both (get you connected and do homekit) if iOS is your thing. I run Android myself.

Bought this and had my son set it up yesterday. Didn't take him very long and seems to do what I need it to -- allow me to make sure I closed the door after I've left the house. Thanks OP.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, I'm now getting "No response" errors when I use the app. Plus, it shows that the door is open when it's really not. Not sure if the two issues are related, but defeats the purpose for me. May return.

I know the deal is dead, but for anyone who has had problems with the unit not working: I received one with a manufacture date of 2017 and it wouldn't work. I ordered a replace and received a 2019 model. It worked without a hitch!!!!

You can make it work with Alexa via smartthings if you have it. However I didn't pursue this as I didn't really want my garage door to be able to open via alexa. It works great through the Myq app or smartthings app though.
However, just found out that it cannot support the motion sensor. We need to buy other sensor that ST can recognize.

It took me many many hours to get it work with my 2017. Every time I change the setting from the app, the device was removed. Really don't know it is hardware or software issue.

This functionality does exist with MyQ. I am using it!

Go to Alerts > "+" (Add New Alert) > Pick your door > Choose "Garage Door is Open" > For Longer Than X Minutes > At All Times and days > Enable Alert.
Thanks! didn't realize I had to turn other radio buttons off.

Is there something similar for the Google Assistant as well?

Walmart also has the Momentum garage door controller with camera for 50 bucks. I picked one up and it was quite simple to install. Has 2 way talk, motion alert, and sound alert. Picture quality isnt bad for 50 bucks. My garage is detached and faces the alleyway so this is gives me peace of mind. Overall for what it does it was the money for me. Also integrates with Nest.
Being that it is detached, does your garage get wifi signal?

I have a detached garage and get Wifi signal, I guess it depends how far it is from your house and where in your house you have your router. It used to be weak (but still be enough for the most part) but then I replaced my ASUS router in the house with a mesh network and placed one of the nodes in the garage to boost the signal strength in there.
