What type of things do you like better on the Nest? What I've heard about is that the August has auto-unlocking and doorsense.

Is it me or are the products reversed based on their description for both brass versions?

Pictures seemed reversed. Threw me for a loop. I'm just going by the title description on the webpage.

I wish they made a matte black

In the past month I was looking to get the nest/Yale initially. I'm still deciding about it vs the Schlage.

I like the Schlage options (connect, sense, encode) due to the design and matching handle-sets. There were some limitations on the sense which steered me towards the connect with z wave. Again, I haven't purchased any door locks yet.

It's kind of confusing between the 3 Schlage models. I use an iPhone, but I don't have a HomePod or use anything HomeKit. My other products that will be installed might have a better chance of being zwave which is what steered me to the connect.

I can't really remember what the Schlage Encode version did.

It's tempting but I'm going to wait and see what Google talks about next month. There are rumors of some updates to Google hub

I have a Schlage and using Zwave. I looked at these but like the design of Schlage for my colonial style house. The specs on this, August and Schlage are great.

would I be able to use this to replace a vivant sky control panel ? Would my locks and sensors work with this system ?

No, two different ecosystems. Vivint sensors are 2gig, and I'm not sure you can get those to communicate with Google Home Hub. Google Home Hub works with Z-wave devices ONLY through a hub such as SmartThings.

Just got mine, unfortunately I bet on the pics being correct and description being wrong. Should have just gone with the description as polished brass pictured oil bronze, ended up getting polished brass
