I know... especially since I'm letting my friend use my garage to store 90 70" TVs that fell of some truck on the turnpike.

I have been waiting for this. It's much better than leaving things out in the open. Don't keep valuables in the garage. Lock the door that opens from the garage to your house.

I have a garage door opener that would work with this, but I'm not convinced it's a good idea. With the tools I have in my garage, I don't feel comfortable letting them be accessible to someone when I'm not around. While I agree it will keep your packages safe from porch pirates, it also opens the possibility of anything in your garage being stolen.

For anyone considering this, I suggest you have a camera in your garage as well to record any activity.

Lets say in the case someone (not the delivery man) take advantage when the delivery man open your garage, he get in and steal staff. Is amazon or ups gonna be responsive for your lost staff, legally speaking. I know at least for now, ups insurance is responsible for the lost package outside the door, so I would keep it this way.

All this was a couple days ago sorry... But it involved a UPS woman doing grotesque things in someone's driveway while being caught on camera and not knowing LOL

I used it for a delivery on Sunday in order to get the $10 credit. Very easy to setup and works fine, Credit given instantly. Not sure I like the garage access especially since I don't have a camera, I'll stick with front door delivery for now.

Got the credit before the package was even delivered. Expires 11/6/2019. Might continue using this service for more expensive items in the future.
