Samsung Galaxy S10 - S10+ Best Buy $200 off with 24 payments- Verizon/Sprint

Just saw this pop up this week. It had been $100 off. Searched and didn't see this posted.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sams...9040874329

Save $200*

on the Galaxy S10e, S10 or S10+ with qualified activation for Verizon or Sprint.

Terms and conditions apply. But this DOES NOT REQUIRE A TRADE IN. The front page deal from Samsung site last week offering $200 off was with a trade in and the other 100 was if you had an edu. That deal is dead.

Also some other carrier specific and new line deals such as:

Buy 1 select Samsung
phone, get 1 free.

Buy a Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+ or Note9 and get another Galaxy S10e free (up to $750 or equal value). Requires unlimited data and at least one new line. The first line must remain active for 6 months and the second line must remain active for 24 months to receive the full credit.

Just started the pre-order of the S10 G5 on Verizon for up to $450 off WITH TRADE IN.

I would wait until may when Samsung brings out its 5g phone
why lock yourself into 4g for 2 years
also 4g phones prices should drop as they try to clear them

Sure, technology argument aside, the rating should be on the deal. $200 off is the best deal for these phones without a trade in or new line activation.

just to be sure, the $200 off is from Best Buy... not bill credits from Verizon, right? Smilie

You shouldn't let 5G dictate buying a phone right now.

1. 5G is more for connected devices than it is for cell phone service
2. The first 5G devices will most likely have terrible performance
3. There really is no timeline on when 5G will have mass availability in the country

Yeah, super fast widespread 5g in lots of places is happening sometime between 2 years from now and never. Doesn't mean a damn thing when purchasing a phone today.

Waiting for best buy or Sam's club to have a $200 or $300 gift card with purchase. Sam's is having a one day sale on May 11th, they usually have the gift card deals then.

Sorry, I don't understand. If the gift card is the same $200, how does that make financial sense? Would you rather save money in pocket or be forced to use that same money as a card that you could lose, expire, and often you can only spend them at that location. They take your money anyways.

Verizon also says this about the 5G service (when and if it is available) you have to pay extra for it.

Thanks but nobody thought it was a good deal (got one upvote) so I doubt anyone cares about discounts on this phone anymore.
