I really want to know what is so difficult, so daunting, so beyond their limits.....to put ....the price...in the freaking title. Why not put the price in the title. Why not?
Both prices are there .... what's so hard to read ?

I wanted a smaller laptop, 13 or 14" and closer to 3lbs, but LG Gram and Dell XPS are over $1k. Going to try the size out because the specs (other than graphics) appear good.

This is 15.6" and 4.5 lbs so I'm trying it out. Might be too heavy for a 2-in-1. But picked up for $773.99 Geek Certified. Hoping it is worth it.

Good price on a 4K build, just not something I'd buy personally. A Ryzen 5 laptop is sufficient for my needs, so be sure to consider the activities you do.

What's the difference between Dells inspiron line and their XPS? Do their XPS laptops use higher quality components?

Actually the MX150 is a dedicated card. It would make it a pretty decent low to medium settings gamer on 1080. If this was a 13" design and another $100ish cheaper I would be in.

1. Less plastic in XPS laptops. The area around the XPS keyboard is a type of carbon fiber.
2. XPS laptops have USB 4.0 ports (Thunderbolt 3). Inspirons use older USB 3.1 ports. It was recently announced that Thunderbolt 3 will become the new USB 4.0 standard, so XPS computers are basically future proof at this point.

Not quite that simple. USB4 is going to be based upon the thunderbolt 3 standard, but that doesn't mean that future USB4 devices are going to work with this laptop at 40 Gbps. In fact, they probably won't as future devices won't be "thunderbolt 3" certified which is required for them to work on a thunderbolt 3 port.

I agree then. Decent deal. Disagree about a 4K screen on a 13" but that's a different discussion
