Perfect timing! I just moved into my new place so I needed pots and pans and I love All-clad as a brand so I bought the 13 piece set!

They're pretty hefty which helps hold their heat well. Well I mean better than the thin non-stick ones like t-fal. It's also got a very smooth finish of non stick coating in comparison to calphalon. I think it makes the pan more non stick, but who knows.

Induction compatible too, if you have a portable induction stove, don't have to make your whole house smelly and cook outside instead.
I bought my two non-sticks from a Macy's deal specifically for my induction hotplates. Sear sous vide steaks outside in minutes, use at work, etc. I have other induction including clad stainless and cast iron but sometimes non-stick is worth the trade-offs.

You're using nonstick to sear steaks??? You really should get cast iron or triply for that job.

Strange huh... they know enough to use sous vide... induction, etc.... but use a non-stick skillet... strange.

Not sure why anyone would buy non-stick All-Clad...
I was able to pick up the 8" + 10" set for pretty cheap a few months ago. So far I'm pretty happy with it. It's much thicker than any other non-stick I've ever owned, which I really like. I certainly wouldn't pay the "All-Clad" premium price for it, but when you can pick it up for prices comparable to other nonstick - like this deal - I think it's worth it. My Tramontina tri-ply will still continue to be my workhorse, but there's still a time/place for a solid nonstick.

TBH, for a product so pricey, the warranty is quite shoddy, and about in-line with T-Fal or KitchenAid sadly.
You're right, ymmv. I've had nonstick pan warranties pan out for me before.

That goes for any nonstick pan if you eat the coating

yes... agree - a few pieces are good, they have their place. the Costco tratamonia is just as thick (if not, so close it's irrelevant) as the all-clad. of course if you paid the same, no difference.
