Thanks OP, ordered 1 for me and 1 for my brother. I started using a fanny pack only last month because I hated having stuff in my pockets (phone, wallet, canon g7xii) and I know this one will be waaaay more spacious than the one I'm using right now. Also it helps me not care what others think about me Smilie

This is a nice pack but don't trust Eddie Bauer to provide an ounce of customer service if you ever have issues with your order or items/warranty, this company is the worst I have dealt with.
Don't know what you are talking about. Button broke on some shorts I got from there. Brought it to the store and they swapped it for me no questions asked. They told me they have a life time warranty on their EB branded products

I saw they had really nice ones at the Oakley store for $90. These are really making a come back. They never really went away in Asia

People love to joke about fanny packs, but they're so damn useful. I want one, but I don't think I'm cool enough to get away with it.

I love how people are wearing this over the shoulder calling them slings in a desperate attempt to get people to believe they are not fanny packs. Saw a kid a few months ago at the mall doing that and I walked by him and said "nice fanny pack", he just turned beet red, that was so worth it. Smilie
Got him good lol

For those of you as excited as I was to get one in neon-green - move on. Sadly, it's not available in a respectable color.

Nothing screams "gullible American tourist!" in foreign countries more than this thing.
When I was in South America 4 years ago my friends who lived there insisted I blend in by wearing one, all of the locals did. So I guess it depends where you go.

I was pick-pocketed twice in France... or at least attempted. They are very brazen there. Both times was the same deal. Someone would hear me speak and say "Oh, are you American?" and then go to shake my hand. But they didn't reach out with their right hand. Instead they try to shake with their left hand which throws you off a little. They then take your left hand and tug you in towards them and with their right hand they reach into your front pocket and grab whatever is in there. The first time this happened, the guy got nothing but receipts out of my pocket and I chased him for a few blocks but he was too fast for me. The second time, I saw it coming. I was with a group of friends so they are willing to get into a confrontation. The kid trying to do it looked real nervous and I saw him looking behind me at a group of guys standing there. I never shook his hand. If I did and he tried it I knew we would be in for a fight. This was when I as in the military and my ship pulled into port there. A lot of guys got pick-pocketed. One guy was using a pay phone (yep, they had them and it wasn't that long ago) when a kid reached in and grabbed his wallet. Another sailor saw it happened and chased the kid down, grabbed him and carried him back to the phone booth making him give the wallet back. The guy on the phone didn't even know he was pick-pocketed.
Yeah, France kinda hates Americans. Funny because it's so dirty there and they think Americans are lazy. Clean up from WW2 already!

wearing a fanny pack across your shoulder doesn't make you look cool.

i prefer to modify my pants with bigger deeper pockets.
