Brickseek shows other places have dropped it to $600. Be patient and reap.

Not even sure this is really a deal at $899. I want to like it but the Vizio P is a better set at the same price so you are still paying a premium for the Samsung name. That said, if it gets any lower it will be a good deal.

I thought buying vizio is really playing the panel lottery at the mid to higher end?
(Full disclosure my first 1080p HDTV was a 42" Vizio Gallavia from Costco that I paid $850 for back in 08/09 and my current bedroom TV is a 55" 1080p vizio D series from Dell that was maybe $350...living room is still a 2012 60" sharp aquos 120hz from costco).

75244 shows $999 for 55" OLED & $1399 for 65" OLED. Not bad for the c8 series.

This is a solid deal. Sold $1200+ all day long. It is about the same as the Samsung NU8000 series which is also about $900 now at a few places. If you could get this sub, $700, then it would be hot.

I feel like the Vizio/TCL folks come to crap on every Samsung thread. The Vizio P is a very good TV. It also cant upscale worth a damn. So if you watch much cable, avoid it. And as was mentioned in this thread, Vizio and TCL quality control still leave much to be desired.

Shows $749 for 65" and $549 for the 55" in zip 36801

Of course both are limited stock and probably display models the store won't sell.

Does upscaling capability apply to streaming like Netflix as well? I'd be using that service and Hulu a lot. So would this tv be better than the P series for that?

Also, I will be using an Xbox One X for these (as well as gaming of course). Vizio P or Samsung Q?
