I just got a email from Amazon's Treasure Truck about a $10 off promo. The landing page gives you the option to clip the promo/add it to your account and then click a separate link to sign up for Truck notifications.

However, my friend who is already signed up for Treasure Truck was able to add the promo to his existing account. No restrictions on use so it looks like you could get a $10 item for free.

You can see more here:

If you've never heard of Amazon's Treasure Truck you can check it out here. Bunch of daily deals and events it looks like.

Literally can't live without my bidet now... Get the fancy ones that dry your butt too! Heaven
Literally? You must have some toxic craps to literally take your life without a squirt of water.

There is a reason why my friend and I both refer to this as "Treasure Suck" when the text messages come out. Once did I ever see something that I even considered a mild deal, and when it is free samples they don't drive around, rather just park in Central Phoenix. No thanks.

We already have a treasure truck in my city. It's a three tone brown GMC van with blacked out windows and a bed in the back that rolls through the neighborhood when school lets out. Frown

Anytime something good comes out, it's SOLD OUT before the truck arrives. I'll get a text and within 10 minutes, sold out. Truck not even scheduled to arrive for hours.

Only time they have something is frozen meat that fell off a Whole Foods truck.
No thanks.

Only 1 item in DC area. A fake garden, for $80... That's not even a good deal.
The Aero garden actually works really well, I bought it for my wife for Xmas two years ago and she loves it. She grew herbs like basil and thyme for a while and the neighbors loved getting little gifts of fresh herbs when we would stop over. Then she moved onto lettuces and greens until we couldn't eat any more but they grew fast and were tasty. Now she's growing flowers and after only about 10 days they are in full bloom and growing so tall they reach the top of the tall version so we had to cut them back and now she has flowers stationed around the house for a great spring decoration.

If you follow the Treasure Truck on Twitter, they will tweet what is going to be on the truck that day so you know in advance. That is why some sell out so quick since people know they want something as soon as it comes up.

For those in SoCal, they do cover Orange County locations for many of the deals even though we aren't listed. I've picked up items in Irvine, Tustin, Laguna Hills, etc. If it is a special event offering where there is only one location for the day, those are usually closer to LA.

They switch it up. I've bought NES Classics, steaks, salmon, an inductive charging pad (25% less than the every day Prime price), an InstantPot, etc. The offerings are usually at a substantial discount compared to every day pricing, or they are hard to find items like the NES Classic, or the food options are unique things to try out . The steaks and salmon we purchased were very high quality and packed safely to maintain temperature until you pick it up. They weren't cheap but you also weren't paying for shipping costs to get fresh food to your door, which can get pricey on a lot of the steak/seafood sites. The truck itself is pretty cool and they usually have games or freebies that are worth checking out for a minute before you're on your way. Deal snobs would probably say many of these things aren't a steal, but we've enjoyed checking it out and grabbed some items we were in the market for at a discount.

I've mostly gotten frustration since I got the notice, immediately click, and find stuff I'm actually interested in is already sold out everywhere. I previously turned off the texts, but offer me $10 and you can fool me twice, I guess.
