Thanks, but that review was absolutely terrible. Tom's Hardware is a shadow of its former self and should not be taken into consideration for hardware purchases imo.

Failing RTX 2080 Ti cards caused by Micron GDDR6 memory from reports some of the newer Samsung ones are failing,some youtube video says reduce the memory clock then return the card after 11 months while it still has a warranty

Nope. That was only Founder's Edition cards, and right at launch, and it was not much higher than the norm. Nvidia fixed the problem on their own cards, replaced all failing cards, and it has nothing to do with AiB partners such as Gigabyte. Reported failure rates are completely normal (same as other cards) as confirmed by the AiB partners:

Between this and the XTREME edition, there is a 75MHz difference in core clock, 140MHz difference in memory clock, AORUS VGA holder accessory (an optional stability mounting bar), and the measured 81 vs. 80 RTX-OPS speed, according to Gigabyte's website:

Still no reason for me to upgrade over my 1080ti. I will think about it when this is $800 (not this one) or just wait until the next card release.
