Add the Canon EF-M Lens Adapter Kit for Canon EF / EF-S Lenses for $38 more.
I think that's a good deal.

An absolute must have at this price, even if you don't have an immediate need for it.

I jumped on that deal earlier today, but now I am not so sure. After tax (assuming tax at Canon vs. no tax here), it's barely cheaper than the one-lens bundle here. You miss out on the accessories (even if basic) as well as don't get to add a lens adapter for $38. Yes, you do get an extra lens, and that's the only real benefit of the refurbished deal.

Huh?!
What deal??

Eg.
$399 Canon M100 kit here with accessories
(sd card <$5, $10 filter, $5-10 bag = $25 accessories)
vs
$318 Refurb from Canon with full warranty (buy your own sd card and filter)

Keep in mind many of these don't do 4k video, so once you hit $499, the Panasonic G7 kit becomes a strong 4k competitor.

I don't find these prices front page worthy.

That'll depend on your use as a photographer.

The M mount lens selections are basic, but the regular kit lens, maybe a telephoto zoom, covers most needs without an issue.

(Ie. Will I ever need to buy a $$$ superwide zoom/prime that's more expensive than this camera to take wide wide shots? Vs. Simply taking a few photos with the kit lens and stiching a panoramic?
Will I ever need a $$$ long telephoto to take photos of the moon, birds, etc?)

If you do find yourself using regular mount lenses often, then why even spend more on these mirrorless models when a T6 refurb sells for less, and you can use all the regular lenses without an adapter or fear of future incompatibility?

The mount adapter + regular lenses also sucks up battery faster and gives you slightly slower autofocus performance vs a regular Canon dslr body.
...

Keep in mind the tiny grip and body also makes these imbalanced when used with the $$$ lenses and adapter.

...

Also keep in mind some of these M models have No hotshoe - no place to mount an external flash, mic, etc.

...

If it's compactness you're after, tons of smaller and/or higher performing models like the Panasonic GM5 (tiny! Much greater selection of native lenses.), GX8/850...

It's not always about the deal. Sometimes it's about the person posting the deal.

M50 vs the a6400 for YouTube vids for a side biz? What do you all think? Seems like the a6400 will be sharper but not sure if worth the extra 400 for YT. Thanks!
