Worth it though? I've got an old Asus VG248QE that has been in use for 5-6 years or so, considering the upgrade.
I'm going to return mine and pay the extra for another 850g

Actually the Panel types are: IPS for productivity and "color snob" work, Response times about 5ms, lower Contrast Ratio than VA, but higher Contrast Ratio than TN. TN for "pro-gamers" who need 1ms response times without the strobing bs, but the Contrast is the worst of the lot just slightly worse than IPS. VA is the compromise betwen TN and IPS for response time, being anywhere from claimed 1ms to 4ms. But the contrast ratio is usually 3000:1, which is 3X IPS contrast ratio. I personally find the VA panels the most gorgeous rendition of pictures and video, though the VA panels tend to have color shifts if you are not directly in front of the monitor. So if you do any "monitor sharing" type collaboration stuff, you need to stick with IPS. TN is even worse than VA when it comes to "off-axis" color rendition.

Cheers!
I see some articles saying VA is best for productivity, although it makes sense some would consider IPS better for it, due to the best color reproduction.

Now what sucks is in my searching I can't find a single 27-29 inch 4k monitor with a VA panel. I would want IPS, except the lower contrast ratio and light bleeding etc.... is enough of an annoyance to where I'd rather stick with VA if I could... but there must not be many 4k monitors with that panel type.

Amazon has the monitor for $344.90 [amazon.com] free shipping if $299.99 + $34 is too much for you.
Says $405 on Amazon.

Anyone that has this monitor tell me if they included a dp cable and how long? I need about a 6 ft cable to reach to my computer.

It works with NVIDIA card, currently running with my GTX 1080 with no problem out of the box
Well, it will work with any video card.

Whether it works with Gsync, the dynamic refresh rate synchronization that NVIDIA uses, is teh big question.

Not worth it for Xbox. Xbox is limited to 60fps so you'd be wasting this monitor's potential. And if you don't have the X (for 4K games) or S (for 4K movies), you should stick with a 1080p screen. If you do, then get a 4K 60hz TV or monitor.
Xbox one x can do 120hz 1440p

Sorry, to be clear, it's Gsync compatible and run 144hz flawlessly

I'm thinking of using it for my ps4 pro, any suggestions? Does it help? I have LG 23" LG 23MP48HQ-P 1080p currently, thinking of replacing it with 4K monitor(for ps4 pro) for gaming purposes, please any recommendations?

Huh, look at that. I learn something every day. Thanks for the info. Any idea what games run at 120fps? If it's just UI, I'd still say you wouldn't be using the monitor to it's full potential.

I ordered this exact same monitor from walmart.com for $346.99 free shipping and no tax. I will get 2 percent back through cashback so roughly the same price with Microcenter, since that one comes to $337 with shipping. But in the case of receiving a cracked screen or dead pixels, returning it to walmart is so much easier. If you have a microcenter near by this is probably the best deal you will find on a 32" 1440p 144hz screen.
And why don't you PM using CC?

I would look at a HDR TV if your primary use is PS4. BEST experience for that is on a huge screen. Good 4k TV are sub$500 now too.

True that for now but check the old blog for ces2019 to see new monitors coming out this year. There are some exciting new panels that are supposed to become real products. No GPU can drive 4k at 144+ hz so you might as well get 1440p if 32 inch and below. Trust me the frame rate is better than barely perceptible pixel density at normal viewing distances...
