I ordered this exact same monitor from walmart.com for $346.99 free shipping and no tax. I will get 2 percent back through cashback so roughly the same price with Microcenter, since that one comes to $337 with shipping. But in the case of receiving a cracked screen or dead pixels, returning it to walmart is so much easier. If you have a microcenter near by this is probably the best deal you will find on a 32" 1440p 144hz screen.
You may want to check again. I don't think you bought from Walmart. It was a listing by a marketplace seller (Audio and Video something), in which case you have to ship it back if you want to return. They don't accept at a store.
Just trying to help.

Local pickup for me in Houston, think I'll bite. 😁

Edit: Found $5 coupon that may work, will confirm when I pick up.

$5 Coupon confirmed working. Just used it.

Anyone that has this monitor tell me if they included a dp cable and how long? I need about a 6 ft cable to reach to my computer.
Just finished setting it up. The included DP cable is slightly less than 5 feet.

True that for now but check the old blog for ces2019 to see new monitors coming out this year. There are some exciting new panels that are supposed to become real products. No GPU can drive 4k at 144+ hz so you might as well get 1440p if 32 inch and below. Trust me the frame rate is better than barely perceptible pixel density at normal viewing distances...
yeah, but I am talking about movies, not gaming, and also my vision sucks so I sit crazily close, within the distance 4k makes a difference. What I'd do is probably have it set to worse than 4k res most of the time, where fonts are bigger, but then for a movie maybe turn it back to 4k.

The 850 is literally more than double the price of the 650. Why are people recommending the 850 over the 650?

I don't think it's worth double the price at all. But Costco has had the 850f for $399 or less a few times. I bought it for $399 a few months ago around the same time micro center had their previous sale of the 650f for $299 because the color was more vibrant and it has a 400 nit screen. I believe the 650f has a 250 nit screen but you might want to double check that. I can't remember exactly what it was but definitely lower brightness levels. You're not getting the real deal 1000 nit hdr with this so curb your expectations with that feature. But overall for $100 more, it was worth it for me. May not be for some though. Double the cost probably isn't worth it for anyone.

The extended Costco warranty with Costco Citi card and return policy is the icing on the cake.

I think that 850 model being freesync2 has HDR with freesync2 (over dp cable). If you are into that...

Movies I will only pay money today for OLED for "real" HDR. I was sold when I saw the sunrise in the planet Earth intro on an LG OLED and I had to shield my eyes... That was my first plunge into HDR at a best buy demo. Samsung's can get brighter but the dark details and contrast will not beat OLED with inefficient local dimming. the new microled may work well so we shall see...

yes, I know, I have an oled. Just saying I may occasionally watch something online (more likely only part of one or a youtube vid or something). Also, having used an oled, I'm sure you know how nice it is to not have the light bleed through that lcds have... and IPS ones have more of it than VA.

Either way, I am torn. I care about color accuracy and viewing angles too. Still leaning VA, if I ever find one... but I need a monitor very soon as I build my new pc.

I'm on the same boat and I actually got a LG27BK85U which is a variation of the UK850 model. Beautiful IPS but suffers light bleeding.
I wonder if VA panel could have as good color. If so I would take a bite on this one

When does this sale end? I have to make a 45 drive to my nearest micro center and want to plan accordingly.
