Even when it's cold I can never sleep in long pants. I would just snuggle up under a blanket. But then again I live in the south so I probably don't know what real winter is like.

I really don't get the point of wearing anything when you sleep. Maybe underwear if you don't want to be naked for whatever reason. Warmth is what the blankets are for.
