The floor standers alone are usually 300-400 each. I'm looking to upgrade mine a little bit so I'll keep waiting. Not worth trying to flip all the rest

Are these over kill for a small house living room? Had a previous Blu-rayHome theater set that's now defective, and I'm looking to upgrade to something better. Plus I could do with the extra HDMI inputs from the receiver.

Not really someone's place to tell you that. All depends on what level you want your living room to be at. If it's your primary viewing area, and you want the full surround sound experience, not at all. If you don't want speakers to have that much of a presence, and would prefer a less obtrusive sound bar, or smaller bookshelves... It's also a cheap way to get atmos without putting in ceiling speakers.

And then there's the WAF to consider.

I am looking for a system to mostly listen to music (mostly EDM) and movies once in a while.

Between the bundle 1 and the bose soundbar 700 + bose sub 700, which one is better? compare pro and con?

Thanks for your help
bundle. 5 separate speakers will sound better than a soundbar. You want separation with movies and music;.

look how tiny the drivers are in that soundbar.

It's your money but I think you'd be way better off with a system like this.

Hey Iconian, thanks for posting this.
For the $1400 set-up, do you know if this is the cheapest ever price?
I'm tempted, but not in a rush to purchase.
Thanks! Croc

I bought the Jamo deal not long ago, along with the Yamaha rx-v2085, and now I'm contemplating on this deal considering it comes with subs.

Looking for a system for my newly finished basement, I did wire for 2 ceiling speakers, so I'm wondering would the 7.2 work for me? Could I use both the up firing speakers in the towers and the ceiling speakers?
