6.2 oz is pretty damned light, so I hope these hold up. In for one, repped.

Grabbed a pair! Thanks. Not too much off retail but still good enough.

The ripstop fabric is impressive. I have a couple of pairs of these at least 5 years old.

I bought a pair of these about 9 months ago after I kept destroying my "work jeans" doing various home-improvement projects. They are definitely tougher than denim and don't tear at the knee or crotch like my jeans were after many kneel down stand ups while doing flooring, tile, etc.

If I needed another pair I'd probably grab these but they're not much cheaper than normal price. I've also heard good things about Dickies 874 work pant which can be had for cheaper but don't have as many pockets

The 5.11 pants I have (Apex are my favorite) breathe so well they're more comfortable than my cotton pants. Synthetic materials have come a long way.

I like the position the dudes are in on the pictures. Its either I gotta take a shit or its cowboy 1 on 1 death match about to go down stance.

They brought Jean Claude Van Damme out of retirement to model ...

These are pretty good pants, though. Light and comfortable but tough.

Just FYI - these look like the old style, and non-slim.

They're $50 on 5.11 with a lot more colors. Not the best deal, I'd wait for a sale.

The guys in the photos look like they are about to whip out blades from their pockets for some knife fight on central. The tactical aggression scares me, no more assault pant weapons! Save the children
