The drill is nice, but the real must-have (if you don't already have one) tool in the Bosch 18v lineup is the impact driver, imo. Mine has been a ridiculous workhorse. Among other things, I built a privacy fence with it, it's still going strong.

I bought the (older model now?) drill + driver set for $149 3 years ago with a free wireless charging kit (wireless battery + charger, which is what made it a deal at that price).

If you're going to get this drill and don't already have an impact driver, I'd instead recommend getting the current set on Amazon for $129 ($149 - $20 discount on bosch over $100).

I own this drill and love it. Yes it's 18v while many competitors are 20-24 but I do not notice a difference. Yes it's brushed (not brushless) but my battery life is fantastic and being a weekend warrior and not a professional I doubt that I will suffer from the brushes wearing out. Good price considering it comes with two batteries. Good ecosystem as the Bosch line supports many tools with this battery. I own the impact driver and reciprocating saw and they are great. You may get a better "deal" if you are in need of a more complete package that includes other tools elsewhere but if you're just a guy or gal in need of a good drill you can't go wrong with this.

this is the same as dewalt 20v. Dewalt measures the "at rest" voltage, and bosch measures the running voltage.

I got this on clearance with the impact driver for 106 at lowes last year.. The drill is quite nice.. but I dont use it much because the milwaukee m12 series is so light and handy.

This works great for starting my pos craftsman weedeater though.. 25pulls.. or about 3seconds with the drill and starter accessory(in the drill chuck)

The impact driver (not in this deal) is quite beefy and strong except I dont like the 2 handed chuck.
my porter cable you can just insert the bit without pulling the retaining collar (to insert).. the bosch impact you have to pull the collar up to insert and remove.

I bought this with the impact driver a couple years back and burned this guy out last week. Upgraded to the brushless. I only do weekend work so if you are doing constant weekend work or more...I'd pass and go brushless. Less than that, probably a good deal.

I got this last time it was posted. It's worth every dime.

Sure, it (this specific model) might be considered an 'entry level' or 'homeowners' caliber of tool but it's likely the best you can find at $70 (delivered to your door).

IMHO, as far as cordless tools are concerned:

(Bosch ≥ Milwaukee) > DeWalt > Ridgid > Makita > Hitachi > Ryobi > Porter Cable > Craftsman > Black & Decker > Wen > Kobalt > Worx > Harbor Freight/Northern Tool > Copycats

No way, all things considered, it's definitely:

Box store brands:

Milwaukee>Makita>DeWalt>Bosch>Rigid

For more premium brands it's:

Festool=Fein>Hilti>Panasonic>Metabo

For homeowners it's:

Hitachi>Ryobi>B&D=PC/others
