Is this ShopRunner eligible? I want to try this out but I'm hesitant because of the return policy (10% restocking fee and no mention of pre-paid return shipping)

Most reviews claim issues with connecting with the app. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...00NH-00002

Any difference in this scale's body calculations and doing it on some app?

Fat ratio scales use a little bit of electricity through your feet to see your estimated body fat percentage. They also need your sex and height to do it. They are not all that accurate, but it is kind of cool anyway. The estimate changes quite a bit depending on how full your bladder for example.

Here is the Android app it claims to use:
https://play.google.com/store/app...re.iweight
Poor reviews.

The Android QR code in the pictures gallery goes to:
http://aicare.net.cn/apkUpdateiwe...index.html
That is the same site the Google Play app page links to, so it is at least somewhat legit.

It currently isn't in stock on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Thundersto...B07J9R66Y2
But, the camels says it costed $15.99 most recently.

I've got a newegg gift card, so I'll bite.

These scales are nice for monitoring your weight and tracking that. That's where it ends. The body fat tracking is about useless. The only benefit it has is if you weigh yourself dry ( as soon as you wake up after peeing but before drinking anything ) everyday you can trend if it's going up or down. But the actual number it gives you is garbage

Mine never changes like that. I don't think it's very accurate, but it is consistent.

Inaccurate, but good ones are precise/repeatable, so that's good for trending. I've beeing doing it daily for almost 2 years with an Ozeri scale.

Also keep in mind that you're really just measuring your legs as a proxy for your body.

Does anyone know if this thing actually works as a scale, or is it cheap junk? (I mean - it is only 10 bucks...). I ask because the last scale I bought died after a couple of months...

Anyone know if the weight is displayed on the scale itself or should we use app for that.

what a terrible design. it does not even have a display to show weight. you always have to take your cellphone to check it.

Guaranteed: you're getting what you're paying for. Will 100% assuredly not measure anything accurately.
