Is there a reason why hard wired z wave detectors don't seem to exist? Ot at least ones that use the hardwire interconnect wire ?

Costco seems to bounce around taking off 20 bucks of the Smoke Alarm 3 packs.

However, it might be a good idea to jump now. Better safe than sorry over 20 bucks.

There is also a deal now where you could buy one to get started immediately.

Any chance these would integrate with a Ring system & the Ring app? I don't own any hubs/system components yet, but I'm planning to get a Ring security system and would like to integrate safety devices as well. I'm not sure if I'll be tied to Ring-branded items only for full integration or not. TIA

4.1 stars on Amazon. Read the reviews though and some are quite mixed... Is there a better option that integrates with your phone?

Thx

Same here. Wish Costco carried this a couple of months ago. I got six from amazon at the $35 price.

Do you require a listener to integrate this with Ring? Thanks

Most houses only have the one required hardwired detector, so a 3 pack for most companies would not make sense. The recommended replacement for any hardwired smoke detector is 10 years, so a 3 pack would last 30 years. Also battery offers more placement freedom options, especially when people remodel all the time.

I was just going to post this too for anyone who got a hubitat recently. My Wink 2 never worked with these so happy to find out these work.
