I bought these same sticks about a few months ago from Rakuten for about $72 and I've had zero complaints. Thumbs up for a few dollars cheaper again! I think I'm in for another set to get myself to 32gb. ✌🏻

I think they've been at this price for the last week or 2. In for 2.

They don't price match the same listing by ADATA on Rakuten easy, though.

Just got 2 sets of these in today. My previous Corsair RAM would not boot using XMP on my Z130 board. Put these in and machine booted perfectly running at 3000 using XMP. If you aren't going to run in XMP the CAS on the RAM is 19-19-19 running at 2666 FWIW.

I have 2 sets (4x8GB) with black heat spreaders. I have mine running at 3100MHz, and manually timed @ 15-16-16-31 stable. No complaints so far..

Debating doing this myself, or maybe risk the hatred and get the black ones and mix. Only for aesthetic reasons although I love the silver, hmmm choices.

I wanted to look at reviews for this but there are other sticks also called "Gammix D10" DDR4 3000 CL16 RAM, but which have different part numbers.

Specifically, this listing is for:
AD4U300038G16-DS10

But Newegg also has:
AX4U300038G16-DRG

Does anyone know what the difference between the product numbers with "AX" vs "AD" are for Adata? Is it just packaging or something more fundamental.

Hmm. The Cyberpower PC build I just received has ADATA DIMMs in it. I wonder if these are the same? Might be worth mixing, even if they aren't the exact same model, and I would like to bump it to 32 GB. Otherwise, I had been considering replacing them with a 32 GB kit from one of my preferred brands.

Generally, I would think only the part after the hyphen is about packaging/heatsink color, and that is indeed the case with the red vs. black of the second serial number. I can't find any difference between those and the silver "AD" ones, though: same speed, same line, same CAS numbers.

For the small price difference, I'd probably buy the ones sold by Newegg unless I was sure I was matching a set I already had. At least with Newegg, I feel pretty good about getting an RMA if the component is DOA.

EDIT: I just realized this is sold by ADATA, which is true of all the listings I could find. I think the "AD" ones are only sold by ADATA directly, either listed on Newegg or Rakuten. Probably the same under the heatsink. These were probably originally intended for OEM use, which makes me think these might actually be what's in my Cyberpower rig.

Just adding I got these about 6 weeks ago for my ryzen 2400, running at 2666 by default and I haven't bothered trying to get to 3000. No complaints

Is it worth it to add another 16gb if the pc is mainly used for gaming?
