Never heard of Desktops with soldered down components so I doubt it.

4GB is a bit low. It will depend on the game but you might have to turn texture quality down a bit. Some games will have no difference.

Looks like 4 or 5 SATA Ports by looking at a picture of the board. Probably 3 meant for 2.5/3.5 drives and 2 meant for M.2 since the chassis isn't large enough for 5 drives.

This deal is OK but it isn't that great to be at the point it is worth it just to salvage it.

I'm so noob when it comes to computer these days. I play Rome total war, and cs.go, and not much else, I have a 2k, 24 inch monitor. Would this be a good choice for me?

The board may have one m.2 slot and a nvme. Some of the AMD setups have a liquid cooler for the cpu, pretty neat! There are some good videos on YouTube about these Inspiron series.

I have the 5680 and loaded it with drives for my plex server. I also got a bracket to add more drives where the disc drive would be. Airflow is good and it runs near silent too.

In the market to replace my old i7-4770, is this a good deal? I remember paying about $100 less back then.

I just upgraded my PC for $280 (Asus 450 TUF, Ryzen 5 1600 and 32GB RAM). If this deal was available 2 weeks ago, I would just get this.

Can this be salvaged for components? Are the RAM, CPU soldered down or could they be transferred to a different motherboard? How many SATA ports? Is a 4gb rx580 too low, rather than an 8GB?

You'd have more than enough horse power for your needs. This system would run modern games at 1080p without an issue.
