Alieexpress over Amazon? Yikes. That Wavelink is aluminum cased which is superior and helps with the wifi interactions people complain about, but it also looks like a product someone constructed in their home. How long have you had it?
I have 4 of each.

Buy one of each and then come back when you figure out what's real and what's "home made".

i've had the USB hub for a couple years now and it's working well. the buttons on mine are sensitive and i've accidentally cut the power on unintended devices.

Does the powered one for 10 bucks work with the ps classic to mod and support the second controller?

I have a wireless headset that uses a USB receiver. Do you think it would work to connect the receiver to the male end with an adapter and connect the female ends to three devices? That way I can choose which device to connect to with the power switches.

Waiting for this to back on sale. This would be perfect for powering numerous dash cams at once.

Edit: Nevermind, the code still works for the 4-port. Just ordered it for $6.95.

Trying to figure out the difference between the two 10 port hubs. Is the difference that on the 7+3 that three of the ports charge only. While on the other all 10 do both charge and data?

Quick question. I have been using this 4 port hub to connect a couple of external drives and a Logitech USB dongle for the mouse to my Macbook Air.

Everything works as intended but whenever I use the switch to turn something on or off, everything connected to the hub gets momentarily disconnected. Not something I desire when drives are connected but it happens every time. I now simply eject the drives before I press any of the switches on/off but it's not ideal.

I'm not sure if it's an issue with my Mac or the hub itself. It works fine otherwise.

Does the hub work on a tv? I have a tv with just one USB port and it's a pain switching from fire stick to flash drive

Is there any solution - a powered hub - that could handle 2, maybe 3, external drives that have their own power? 2 seems to be a problem sometimes...

Also, what do you guys think would be the best portable powered one for a laptop?
