That's because an updated version just came out at that price point with a faster CPU and GPU.

You could play any xbox anywhere game with a laptop 1/4 the price of this laptop. My $700 Nitro 1050ti plays Forza horizon 4 like a champ

I see. Please throw me some suggestion on gaming laptop. I know nothing about pc and quite frankly, I'm not even interested in customizing cpu parts and stuff. I'm more of a console guy

For car race games PC is not as fun as a console.

How can that be when the game play is supposed to be the same or is the exactly the same thus resulting the same experience...or am I wrong here?

I think they mean playing with mouse and keyboard isn't as fun as controller, which is y they recommended you to use controller. There are plenty of options out there for you. Basically get something with a 580 or better graphics card and you already are better than Xbox one X graphics. One recommendation I would say is MAKE SURE your new laptop has thunderbolt 3. That way you can upgrade the graphics card through an egpu and don't have to buy a new laptop a few years down the road due to graphics.

How is it? Been looking at it for a while after not being able to use a Predator 21x, but with the i9 and 2080. Yea yea the so called cost, but i like it to be an experience to use. Seems its the next best thing as far as power. Curious to hear any impressions, what you like, dont like etc. Wish they did a 4k 144hz version but it seems there's only a couple gaming monitors that do that, like the Predator.

What?! Are you saying that there are computer parts that make better graphic than Xbox One X? I am honestly dumbfounded! Now you're talking 😮

Too ricey and plastic for my taste. Might as well have a triple deck wing on the lid and a 12" diameter exhaust port. This "gamer" branded garbage these days with excessive plastic and flashing lights is ridiculous.
