Ted Alspach's castle-building board game comes alive on Android! The winner of the prestigious 2015 Mensa Mind Games award tasks players with building extravagant castles for King Ludwig of Bavaria. Castles are constructed one room at a time, with a different player each round setting the prices for the others, resulting in a competitive, engaging game where building is as much fun as winning!

On a scale of 1 to 10 maybe a 5 or 6 and on par with say Settlers of Catan. The game play is not hard to learn (pick a tile, place a tile), but the scoring seems to throw people off. Likely easier to play as an app cause the app will do the scoring for you.

Totally worth the $1, especially if you love or wanted to get into the physical board game. This is my wife's favorite board game, and we'll play the digital game against each other when we want to play but don't feel like setting up the actual game. And also a great way to learn the game too!

Not such a bag sign at a dollar. It means whatever the game currently has is all it's ever going to get. Bugs and all.

The reviews make it seem like it's worth a buck.

Does anyone else find the campaign mode to get impossibly difficult at a certain point?

How complicated is this game? I just don't find super complex board games very fun.

Should I buy this on iOS or Android? Does anyone have input on app functionality on either?

Last update appears to be 2 years ago, which is sort of a bad sign.

We have it on both. If you have an iPad and want to do like, pass and play, then iOS is a solid choice. We did this when we went on vacations or conventions and had some downtime.

My wife and I mainly used the Android version though because we purchased it once, and added it to the family library, so we were able to access it from both of our phones.

Yeah that's pretty much it. I haven't checked in awhile but I didn't see the expansion as an option to purchase. Never really ran into any bugs, and played both offline and online.

If you've never played, I think the hardest part will be learning the icons and scoring. But it's not too bad and you'll get the hang of things pretty quick!

Great digital version of a great real life board game. I have the Android version and use it frequently for pass and play on a Note 8. AI isn't the best but is definitely playable. As others have commented the single ayer campaign can be hard and luck dependent later on, but I consider it more of an extra to the great implementation of the standard multi-player game.

The game is family share enabled on iOS so you can play on yours and your wife's phones with the iOS version as well.

Like getting these so I can learn to play the board games I bought without reading confusing directions.
