Any gamblers around? I don't know if prices will keep going down, or if they will go up once AMD announces their new chips.

EDIT: Then again, it's also gambling on how well will new AMD chips do with Cas 16 vs cas 14.

I bet you $5 it will go up if Trump's tariff goes into effect.

I bet the other way:
1. None of the RAMs you see is manufactured in China
2. Prices fall when global demand goes down coz of trade war.

The things that will be more expensive are PSU and PC Case. GO stock those up!

There is already an announcement by two of the three major memory manufactures that they will cut down on production due to 30+ day supply back stock,
so expect prices to level out on the next 3 months if not creep up a bit.

I'll leave that up to you to decide but from my experience over DDR2 and DDR3 cycles, this is the year that we will see memory prices bottom out and the creep back up next year as DDR5 is just around the corner.

Are these Hynix or Samsung B-Die? Curious to know if Ryzen users are getting the advertised timings @ 3200 or higher

these are hynix. samsung b-die would be 3200 cl14. i have these though and i OCed it to 3400 just fine. I was thinking about picking up another 16gb but i feel like thats overkill

Cas 14 will likely not go down in price (at least samsung B-die). Samsung announced that they will no longer produce their B-die ram.

It is predicted that there is an excess of DDR4 currently and the fact that desktop pc sales/chips are down so people expect the prices to drop until the fall (probably only 10-25 dollars at this point).

DDR5 is also coming so probably around fall time there will be a shortage of DDR4 since things will be transitioning to DDR5 if they already havent? This is my opinion, so I will likely pick up a set in a month or two myself.
