Whats the difference between these and your typical rubber spatula, aside from their shape?

FYI - These are not heat resistant. They'll get damaged if you use them on a hot pan.

I use chain mail when the stuff is really stuck and burnt on. I would use this to scrape off stuff that didnt stick like egg, cheese, or flakes from tortillas.

Looks interesting. I wonder if it works better than the "chain mail" type cleaner I have?

These are stiffer than a nylon or rubber spatula. they're probably more comparable to a credit card.

Bought these for $2.19 from Amazon previously. Great product. Curved edge is excellent for my Lodge and Griswald skillets.

I think the idea is to be careful with your "seasoning" layer and build it up over time. I also use the lodge brush. My chinese cast iron was super rough and I couldn't cook an egg at first. Now it's super smooth and amazing...

I use the chain mail for all my cast iron - hasn't had any impact to my seasoning.

I use these pan scrapers for my Lodge Carbon Steel Skillets (definitely don't want to use chain mail on that) - it works great for getting scrambled egg residue off. They also work great for scraping bacon grease up off pans. I have 2 layer pan where grease drips below. After the pan cools, I put in fridge and scrape the bacon grease once congealed. Works great.

I found the set that has the grill scraper in it at Wal-mart [brickseek.com] on their mass clearance aisle a few weeks back marked down to .20 cents. Picked up a few, these are great for cleaning around the house too.

The most burnt on thing you can think of can be scraped off any cooking dish such as glass or metal with these. They work. My go to cleaning tool in the kitchen sink before the scrub brush gets it's turn.
