Quick question on the Activation :

"Gift card will be sent via e-mail to the provided e-mail address within approximately 2 business days of device activation"

If I bought an unlocked phone and send it to a foreign country, will I still get gift card? Do i need to activate this phone with a US carrier?

It's good that they let you place the order but does upgrading your free byod plan messes up your rates?
I'm on a traditional plan so I'm not sure about that. Hopefully someone else on here can report back if it works without messing up your current plan.

Nice deal! Just picked up 2... but I did have to order separately to get gift cards on both for some reason.

Is there a reason why free 3 month Mint is not offered with this?

Unlocked means you can activate it on any carrier. You get the GC once you activate the phone

Anyone have experience with Google trade-in procedure?

I just bought a Pixel 2 XL on eBay auction. Through Google store they are estimating $263 trade-in value, which is more than I paid. That combined with the $100 Google store credit deal would make this about a $75 upgrade from the 2 XL.

Will I really get the $263 trade-in value or will they adjust that and say it is on worth $150 after they receive it?

What's to stop you from just canceling the sprint service after it's activated? If you cancel in under 14 days Sprint is supposed to refund the service costs and activation fee, right?

For the folks that care for the camera (pretty much the same as Pixel 3), this is an amazing deal. Wish I had waited with my pixel 3 purchase.
The Pixel 3a camera has Pixel 3 features like night mode shooting. However, buyers should be aware that the Pixel 3a line does not use the pixel visual core [wikipedia.org]. So you'll still get good photos, but not Pixel 3 level photos. Here's a review [youtu.be] talking about it.

It varies, in my experience. I traded in two perfect condition Nexus 6's a couple years ago for $100 each but when they received them they were only going to give me $60 for one of them (full $100 for the other). I took pictures of everything before I shipped and after a couple exchanges with customer service they gave me the full $100. I've heard of many similar experiences so just document everything!

I don't see any way to do the trade in on best buy, or are you talking trading in at google store?

Sweet deal with Sprint assuming I can get the $100 activation discount on the phone on a Kickstart line. Anyone know for sure? edit: It seems like no as bestbuy.com is showing my line as ineligible. Still a good deal with the $100 gift card and can't complain when I'm paying $15/m for unlimited I guess.

Wish I had a chance to take a look at regular and XL in store but stores are almost out of stock and will likely be gone if I don't order online. Leaning towards the non-XL for easier handling, but the bigger battery of the XL is tempting.

Was going to order this but then saw that you don't get the unlimited google photos storage at original sizes. Now debating this vs the Samsung s10e
