Editor's Notes & Price Research

Beyond the singular aesthetics of French craftsmanship that characterizes the Tramontane series, the T70 imposes itself in the world of the entry-level acoustic guitars with a solid spruce top that's rich and deep in tone. Sale is valid for a limited time while supplies lasts.

Probably worth a gamble if you know how to do your own setups and some basic fretwork.

I got the cutaway on the last deal and very happy with it considering the price. Haven't tested the electronics yet, but got it more for having a cheap acoustic around that I could pick up and strum whenever I feel like. I should note the finish is *very* matte. No shininess anywhere on this. Not a bad thing, but just good to know what to expect.

It does say "open pore" finish which means no filler and matt clear.

Very good. I got in on the T100 slim and have friends who are musicians who have picked it up and shaken their heads when I tell them what I paid for it... LAG is a great company for a quality guitar and Adorama has the best customer service around, so it's a win-win...

I bought the cutaway version two weeks ago & it was so great I bought this solid version too. Unfortunately only the cutaway version was acoustic/electric so I'm mailing the solid standard version back since it is acoustic only.

Someone should correct the listing. Only the cutaway version is acoustic electric.

Bought the solid as well last deal a week ago, and it's not electric, I'm not even sure the cutaway is electric, does anyone know if it is for sure? Cause theres nothing I see that talks about any of its pickups or anything.

I don't think either is electric. There's another listing which specifies that

I bought the Cutaway and it takes a battery. Has a built in tuner and a spot for a wire

I also bought the T100 slim, after some nut and neck work it's an unusually well built and finished acoustic considering its Chinese. Put different strings on, it could use some filing of fret edges but only highest frets. I've played Epi Dots and Mexican Strats not as well finished...
