Size: Mixed
Kit Count: 5
Wrapper / Binder / Filler: Due to this being a future release that Rocky Patel will announce/promote separately we were not provided with the specific wrapper, binder or filler information.
Many of the manufactures in the cigar industry were forced to prerelease their cigars in preparation for the FDA cutoff date. We've teamed up with Rocky Patel to give you an exclusive taste of what he has coming out in the next few years.
In this tasting kit you will receive 5 Unreleased Cuban Connection Maduro cigars in mixed sizes (robust, toro & torpedo).

So it seems you are just paying $15 for the brand name and in hopes it will be ok. I find it hard to believe that ~$3 per cigar will yield excellent cigars.

I find it hard to believe that someone would thread crap over a cigar promo.

These are very good cigars at a great price. I have ordered this set several times. Just trying to make sure the cigar community is aware of these high-quality deals.

With Rocky Patel it's best to get in early, because they are known for flavor changes after release, to the point where some people believe they change blends.

That would explain why I've read great reviews of RP but have never enjoyed even a single one. I'm not giving them another chance.

As a side note, Fox Cigar has a good reputation. But in ten years of collecting cigars, the only problem I've ever had with mold came from a Fox purchase.

Not knowing what you've tried, I would suggest a Decade Cameroon if you can as I've never had a bad one of those.
I've recently stopped buying RP as they have given me nothing but trouble with canoeing and wrapper issues.

In for 1. Free shipping, so not much to lose. I don't know much about cigars, but seems like a good deal to be able to learn a little.
