for ITX build, there is little reason to go for x470 as x470's main advantage is support for SLI which ITX boards don't have. I am really tempted to get this B450, just afraid Ryzen 3 won't be fully supported.

Same with me. I already have an asrock fatal1ty x470 I unopened which I am just going to sell because I want an asus. So in a way I hate to get the 450 and feel like I am going backwards by getting a lower model... But would be saving a decent amount of money, since I pay tax at newegg. And could use a smaller case. But, also, if getting x470 I am getting the one on sale that is an atx one... so the difference here for me is memory max only 32gb as well. I wish someone would say flat out if the itx asus b450 is the same quality overall with the atx x470.

From what I've been hearing the difference is the RGB logo for the most part.
I to have ATX Motherboard already not open. The model is asrock master SLI/AC. Just not sure if I should stick with that or not.

In my case I bought it too long ago to return, but I just decided I'd rather pay extra to get the asus. Since I am not OCing I was going to just get the x470 prime pro. But now the rog strix one is not a lot more and also I'd "like" to get an itx one, honestly, but can't decide. I'd probably rather have the itx c470, but that one isn't on sale, only the atx one for x470.

Same here my aim is on the Asus rog Strix x470.
For 1 it's nice and small helping out with a small footprint size for the case. My build is for music production.
2. The mother board is the only one with dual m.2 other then the b450!
3. The best build is a yes you guessed it a rgb build

the x470 itx one or the atx one? Since you said it's a small footprint, I assume you are talking about the itx one. What sucks there is it' not one that sues this promo code and is well over $200. The atx one does qualify for promo code, but then of course not itx and even with promo code its like $40 or $50 above the itx b450 price. I am stumped on what I want to do, honestly.

Sometimes newegg lowers the sale price again before a promo code expires (these last until the end of the 15th, but newegg does sometimes cancel out the code early).

wow, that b450 one also has wireless and Bluetooth, whereas even the rog strix x470-f doesn't have it. It also ahs good audio, the two m.2 connections, etc... I just wonder if I am really losing something if I go b450, though. Although, it does say in a review that the wireless isn't the greatest.

review seems pretty top notch. They do mention the wireless not being the greatest, but if you want to game, you should always use LAN cable regardless.

This guy does a good job at explaining B450 vs x470

I think that's the review I saw. Now the only problem is this... I was going to sue a second ssd for things I don't ened the faster ssd for, but still would rather have something better than a HDD for. Well... for this b450 board if you use the second m.2 slot, it shares bandwidth with the gpu slot, ie your gpu is changed from x16 to x8. I really want that board, too. Frown I'd have to get a sata ssd for the secondary or get a different mobo. Normally, sata would be good enough, BUT I was wanting to do some ssd to ssd transfers, so i'd basically be slowing that down by a lot,

Any case suggestions? I'm doing music and photo editing but I need a small car so I can move it around
