Strange comment! Never heard of someone NOT buying because they don't charge sales tax. You can actually pay your State sales tax directly to your State, if you're into that sort of thing. (And if you're really feeling crazy you can pay extra!)

Lol. No. I mean they don't charge tax when purchasing but then send you a statement at the end of the year saying you, the purchaser, needs to pay your state. They turn this statement over to your state's tax department. So I don't care if they charge tax, just that they could easily just add that function to their site and do it themselves. Oh and just because they don't charge some people tax doesn't mean that they're not responsible for reporting it.

One of the reviews on Newegg says it has a white label WD80EMAZ inside.

Until Newegg grows a pair and can charge tax themselves I will not buy from them. There. My rant for the day.

Does shockable mean that you can extract the drive and use separately from its enclosure? Or does it mean that you can flash the firmware with a special firmware? Or does it mean that it has anti-shock protection??

Thanks.

This is what shuckable means, yes.

Shuckable means you can remove the drive relatively easily, without destroying the enclosure in the process, and that drive should then function normally**

**Some drives might actually require a modification for it to power on. One of the easiest ways to "mod" them is to use a molex-to-SATA power adapter instead of using a SATA power connector directly from the PSU.
