Solid price. $100 per camera with an included base station for decent technology with the freedom of cordless. Have had mine for almost 3 years now and other than the camera lag (which arlo is very clear about how these cameras work before you even purchase them) they are terrific because of that missing wire. To each their own but I have been able to set up arlo cameras in trees and on areas of the house you would be unable to do so with corded cameras so think about what your goal is before just jumping on the "shit on arlo" bandwagon. Here's something nobody talks about: spiders. Spiders LOVE to build over these cameras at night. I'll recharge a battery or clean the face with a broom, same night another one will build a web over it. I have those "camera gloves" and those make it worse with the lip providing easier web building than just the flat camera surface. So if you have these in positions where you can't clean them somehow (which does defeat that wireless freedom purpose somewhat) you'll end up with no night vision other than cobwebs on the lens.
Does it easily trigger with leaves moving? I'm guessing it can be solved by reducing sensitivity?

I would wait for the pro 2 version to come down in price. The pro 1 version just isnt worth the price imo.

Leaves moving won't set off mine. Neighborhood cats and dogs, yes.

If it's like my mother's cameras the night vision LEDs attract bugs and the spiders go for them. She has tons of clips of moths flapping at the camera also.

This has not been my experience .
No lag , no delay .. as soon as a person or cat steps one foot in my zone it grabs it....
That being said , I do have great internet signal and the Netgear nighthawk modem .. that might be a helping factor (?)
I have the first gen Arlo and Arlo Pro 2, tried different base station still exhibit 3+ second delay on live feeds. It takes forever to even load it up in first place.

These are the original Arlo that use 4 cr123 disposable batteries. Also not fully compatible with Google Assistant, if that matters to you.

Why are they including free batteries? Smells like good riddance of bad batch.

I have this, I don't recommend it. It's quite laggy, ie it takes an averag 10 seconds to load live feed. Then when it does load there's about a 3 second delay in video and audio feed. If you're interested in knowing what it was like talking to astronauts on the moon, get this, but other than that save the $300 and try those $30 Chinese cameras, can't be worse
can you pm some links to those chinese cameras?
