Love my Mi Band 3 and I've been waiting for a deal like this so I can get another one as a back up. I love the brighter and larger screen, and use Tools and Mi Band to customize notifications. Being able to ignore text from certain people is priceless! Have used the band to find my phone and also use the app to find the band, very useful.

As far as band I am wearing this with a black mesh metal band that the watch snaps into and out of easily. It works much better than the silicone band which gets too sticky when I workout. I don't use it to track steps though. I got a bunch of screen protectors from urlhasbeenblocked because I worried the dome shaped watch face would be more easily damaged. Those are just soft vinyl films but so far have kept the screen scuff free.

When I was thinking of buying one of these bakc in January I could not find a solid comparison that showed why honor 4 was better. All the comparison reviews seemed to be biased, like they were selling one or the other. What reasons would you give for honor band 4 over mi band 3?
They are completely different products. First, Mi Band 3 you can't see in the sun. Honor 4 has many more options, for both notifications and activity tracking. Also is much sleeker. But the notifications are much slower and cumbersome to go through, although richer. Honor 4 has shorter battery life.

To put it this way - Honor 4 looks like 2 generations ahead but with lots of bugs. I prefer it much more.

How does the weather on these work? I like my mi band 2 but would love to have weather info on it.
Honor 3/4 are great for weather. I am not advertising them, but the feature is implemented properly.

I have the 2, is the screen any brighter on this one? The 2 is unreadable outdoors.
Same screen - unreadable.

I think the 2 has a bug where the screen goes dim sometimes, and I've yet to see someone figure out how to fix it, or why it happens in the first place.

I lost the one I use daily, and it could be read in daylight, but the spare I have can barely be read indoors.

Anyhow, I'm in for a 3. Don't really see how it's going to be better than the 2, and I'm not thrilled that it's larger and has a shorter battery life.

I wonder what features the 4 will boast that the others don't have?
The 3's face gets scratched easier and the functions are hard to navigate through. That said it's nicer than my 2. The find phone is nice because I keep my phone on silent all the time. The other function I absolutely love is reading my text messages on the watch. The screen is unreadable in full sun.

Solid deal. I am from China and I wonder what are the differences between global and domestic version. Plus, with shipping fee, almost the same price as in China!

Honor 4 or wait for next mi band? I realize it's not some huge investment.
I had the Mi Band 2 and upgraded to the Honor Band 4 back in December (debated between it and the Mi Band 3). To be honest, I loved both, but if I had to choose again I would still go with the Honor Band 4 over a Mi Band unless they make some major improvements to the Mi Band hardware. That said, if you're buying a Mi/Honor Band first and foremost for fitness tracking, I would say without a doubt go for the Mi Band because Honor Band is a very closed system and they make it difficult to import/export data. It's been fine for me, but I know some people online have stated that they experienced issues relating to this and with Mi Band you have more app choices. Also, if you want compatibility with other apps, go with the Mi Band because they release their API which means it works with third party apps. The thing I miss most is how it synced with Sleep as Android and vibrated with my alarm.

For almost everything else I would say I prefer the Honor Band. It has a MUCH brighter screen and the brightness is adjustable as well. The color is amazing for me and I love how pretty it makes it. The display is bigger, which makes a huge difference in reading the time. The raise to wake function is much more responsive on the Honor Band 4 than it was on the Mi Band 2 for me. The strap is much more secure (though I admittedly I prefer the kind on the Mi Band). But my absolute favorite part is the nap time tracking because I take more naps than I should and before, with the Mi Band, I wasn't getting an accurate picture of how many hours I was actually sleeping and I love that I do with the Honor Band. If Huawei would just release their API, the Honor Band would be near perfect for me.

Tl;dr: If you're using it as a fitness tracker or want 3rd party support, Mi Band. For almost everything else, Honor Band.

In some ways, I think Xiaomi is better than Apple.

Definitely get a few of these if you hate the USA. STOP BUYING KNOCKOFF GARBAGE
Apple products are made in China. Many USA products are merely designed and assembled in the USA; the parts are from China.

Why does the link take you to sharesale-analytics.com then redirect you to GearVita.com? I'd like a cut of the commissions!
