ZERO. You can always cancel and apply as a new customer the very next day.

If you have a 2nd household in your home, they can sign up as a new service at your home. Make sure your services end before their appointment to set up the service.

I've done this for 3 years now

You're presently in a 2 year contract with FIOS and you don't know the answer to that question? Srsly???? You're lucky I'm a charter member of OSL. The answer is yes, there is a cancellation fee, a percentage of your bill that approaches zero as the months remaining on your contract approaches zero. But, hey, I've got an alternate contract for you to sign right here. Sign, Leroy, sign! I'll tell you the details later.

Wrong. There is a waiting period of at least two months before you can sign up again.

What if I'm still in contract with a different provider? Will Verizon buy out what I have left?

Just a heads up with Verizon if you arent familiar:

They have TV channel packages that almost inevitability require you to add to that price if you have multiple people with various interests in your household. May work perfect for you, but for me my wife and my son I had to add three or so extra channel packages to equate to our Optimum options at the time.

Also happened to run into a bunch of extra charges they added. I did call and they were willing to take if off, but I was still billed. Was too obnoxious so I cancelled within the 30 days I could

That said I also had a deal for a free $200 gift card at the time...which I did receive a few weeks later. So was kind of worth it.

2 years agreement required for this plan

I am looking at this plan: 3 -Year Price Guarantee Fios Gigabit Connection Up to 940/880 Mbps Internet.
Anyone has any idea can we switch to 100mbps plan $39.99 once we received $200 prepaid card.
