For those that care, I own the uk600 and have compared it to the UL600 the latest model. This model is the model just below those.

So here goes uk650 and 600 are the exact same monitor. The only difference is the stand. What is nice about them is they can maintain 350 nits of brightness and actually go upwards of 380 in some scenarios. 8-9ms input lag for gamers. I bought it for Xbox gaming. 40-60fs range.

The newer line the UL series looks identical to the uk series in both design and performance. The UL managed to hit 400nits in some scenarios which allowed it to achieve HDR 400 ratings. It generally hovers around 350-380 typical usage. It however does not produce better contrast color accuracy, wider gamut etc than the uk series before it. 8-9ms input lag 40-60fs range.

This 500 model is nearly the same as the others with a slightly different stand and can reach 300nits but the typical appears to be 280nits. It is rated as 1% lower for srgb which nearly no one on earth will be able to tell the difference outside of pro photogs/video types and they want a better monitor anyhow. Unknown input lag I couldn't find the numbers 40-60fs range.

Tldr version

Get the 500 series if you are looking at all of these and just want a general use monitor and maybe do some gaming.

Or

You want an entry level 4k monitor don't care if it gets as bright as the others for console gaming. It's the better value. If I didn't prefer insanely bright monitors and TVs and knew the input lag, I'd return my 600 for this as it's a great value.

Great price. I have the 27uk600 which is the previous model and the picture is gorgeous. I use it mainly for pictures and school work. It was on sale for $319 so this is a good price.

Unless you're planning to game, who cares? This is being sold as a casual use work/media monitor

This monitor kind of came out of nowhere and it seems aimed at the entry level workstation 4K user and 4K Xbox One X users. It's the newer, cheaper version of the 2018 27UK600 but not as good as the new 27UL600 released this year. The colors dont seem to be as good as the UK600 or UL600 or as bright but it is priced appropriately for a sub $400 4K monitor. Also the bezels seem to be ever so bigger with a little less screen. It's not real HDR and while the UL600 is HDR400 certified thats just barely and it still isnt true 10 bit. But you cant find a real 10 bit and real HDR (600+) 4K monitor near this price nor even close to the price of the 27UK600 or 27UL600 models.

For the same price, would you say the UK600 is the better option?
