Good price on this Breville. Currently $574.94 on Amazon (new) and has only been on sale as low as $480 in 2018 so this open box refurb is a pretty big discount at $324.99

Great price on this, but the reduced 30-day warranty offered by woot is a deal breaker. Other people who've bought this talk a lot about how often this unit breaks or needs repair.

Good catch. If I did buy it I would test it thoroughly the first 30 days to make sure there weren't any issues. It's a factory reconditioned so it's not "open box" new either. They do make a nice looking machine though.

How is the grinder? I don't expect it to be Barattza good but does it grind fine enough for decent espresso? I have had an 840XL and now have the 920XL so I'm not concerned with it's ability to make good coffee.

If there's a way to buy an extended warranty for this thing I highly recommend it.

From what I've read the grinder itself is good at what it does. There are 382 reviews with the word "grinder" on Amazon. There were a lot of positive comments and some negative. Most negative had to do with reliability and cleaning issues. Some had clogging from oily bean (which plagues many espresso grinders). Overall, I think the comments are mixed, grinds well, but YMMV. That's the thing with an all-in-one, they're great until either part quits working.

That would work. As long as the product doesn't have to be new at purchase
