Ive used this on my face lips for years now. Works great, even vs some of the more expensive lip balms I've tried. But since going out looking like I just ate a bucket 'o KFC isn't always the look I'm going for(sometimes, it is, tho) I still keep lip balm(Khiel's brand).

Curious and serious Q: besides for anything sexual, what else do folks use petroleum jelly for? I've read articles about other uses but I'm more interested to hear it first-hand Smilie

Artist use it for sculpting and molding, recently discovered adding a tiny bit on 3d printer hot bed makes it easy to remove printed items.

Petroleum Jelly is best used as a top layer as it doesn't moisturize so much as it "locks in" moisture.
I have very VERY dry skin and live in a cold weather state. In the winter I use a good lotion as a base layer and then 'seal it' with Vaseline. If I don't do that...my skin is dry again a mere hour after showering and applying lotion.

Supposedly, you can also use it to extend the life of the smell of cologne or perfume by putting a bit in your wrists/neck and then spraying the cologne on it.

I color my hair regularly. To prevent dye from staining my skin I put a thin layer of this just under my hairline and ears.
