YMMV - Home Depot - Chamberlain B1381 LED 1.25HP Garage Door Opener - $265.

Stopped by my local Home Depot and discovered that the Chamberlain B1381 was going for $265. This model is $338 everywhere else so I grabbed me one. Home Depot's website still shows this for $338 so YMMV. I got it from the Home Depot in Irving, TX at 8555 Home Depot Drive. There were still 10 units left at this store.

Don't forget - 11% rebate is active this week if your Home Depot is near a Menards

Even better, in my experience the rebate is based on the original (non-sale) price!

So the HD website shows no inventory around me (only ship to store as a pickup option), but brickseek shows every store with 9+, although at full price. Is that a glitch, or a sign that they'll start to get marked down?

Edit: Just checked the OP's store on both HD website and brickseek and get the same result, no stock shown on website and full price w/ stock on brickseek.

$10/year for google home(not sure about other platforms) integration, there's ways around this and other ways to convert your switch from dumb to smart if you're after it.

There are a ton in stock in WA but I really doubt they will be on sale here. Nothing in HD ever is.

I have put up two of them, one in the last few months, and I find it very simple. I do a lot of remodeling and work in a casework shop. as long as you have a drill, a ladder and some sockets, maybe someone to help hold it up. probably a few other thinks I am forgetting. I had to run electrical so make sure you have a plug nearby or han handle that.

I had no experience in installing a garage door opener before and found the install fairly straightforward. Albeit, you will need 2 people in mounting the garage door opener unless you have 2 ladders. I did it on my own in order to save the $150+ on installation.

has anybody outside of the OP replicate the deal?

My garage opener died and this would be a perfect deal for me so I can return the B970 I bought from amazon for almost the same price as this deal.

Home Depot in Cincinnati on Fields Ertel had 14 in stock for $265 each. Brickseek is wrong. I bought 3. Now they have 11. 😊
