PSA, these items are factory (made-for-outlet), not the full-line bags. Kate Spade likes to have these "Surprise Sales" with what looks like deep discounts, but these are the bags and prices you'll get if you go any day to any outlet.

Factory item codes will start with WLRU or WKRU or PWRU. Department item codes will start with PXRU.

Factory is essentially a separate line and is manufactured in a different country than department items. Quality isn't bad, but don't be fooled that these are the same bags you'll find in a Nordstrom or Macy's.

Yeah these Kate Spade "surprise sales" are no surprise and not good deals. This is a sponsored post that I would stay away from.

Use code "EXTRAEXTRA" to get an additional 10% off your purchase of $150 during the Surprise Sale.

The only thing "surprising" about it is how it keeps getting up-voted. To me, the presenting factory items as sale full-line is really deceptive. They've already lost a lawsuit in their factory stores for deceptive pricing. The surprise sale deals shouldn't even be posted...

There are a few items with the "PXRU" style, just use that to search.

The same outlet/factory line products also on Michael Kors and Coach, it's especially effective for tourists who only care for the brand names

They are not fake, but they are factory items, which is why they only appear on Kate Spade's "surprise" site. See previous comment above for more explanation.

Yup.

It's the same as the Michael kors bags you find in Ross. It's the factory junk made from cheaper materials compared to Macy's, Dillard's, Belk, etc.

Beware of those "Made for ___" bags as well. I was told they skim on material as well.
