Dimensions are:
20" Carry-On: 22" x 15" x 9"
24" Checked: 26" x 18" x 12"
28" Checked: 30" x 22" x 13"

I think the 20" carry on is bigger than allowed by most airlines 22*14*9. Does anybody know from personal experience if the extra inch makes a difference?

That 19" carry-on is small. Way smaller than allowed by airlines.

It's highly dependent on the type of aircraft. ANY regional jet will not support the carry on. Some 737 depending on seat configuration will. Most Airbus will.

My ex seemed to think that extra inch was a huge difference.
