Thanks, got this instead of the 3a. Just as good if not better for 1/4 the price.

Not gonna pay $300 premium for a slightly better camera and some OS updates I can do myself

I don't own either phone so I don't have first hand experience on which is better, yet the Moto G6 is still 99 plus additional 20 for first month service. Check SD threads for more details as it's been well covered.

Why can't I share this link? Slickdeals not getting a cut or is it mobile issue?

I believe it could be a temporary mobile issue. I am unable to see the share button via the mobile app as well. I'll bring it up to the dev team (although they may already be aware of and working on a fix). Thanks Smilie

The cameras aren't even close, if you place any value in photo capability, the Pixel is a completely different league. With the Pixel line, you'd also get security updates in a timely manner, not so with the Moto.

GS5 - FHD LED 3GB Ram 32GB Storage Snapdragon 625
Pixel 3a - FHD+ OLED 4GB Ram 64GB Storage Snapdragon 670

Literally, in no way, is the phone in this post better than the 3a.

"what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul." - Principal

I see these deals with free service as a way to help pay for my phone essentially. By getting this, my normal plan is $30/ month. Saving me $90 to put towards the phone. So I'm only paying $50+ tax for the phone. That's a pretty good deal if you don't mind the hassle of porting in, then porting out back to your original service if you want out of mintsim.

You can only use a 3 month mint sim on a new/ported number right? I can't use this sim to stack time to the same number I already have on mint?

I just got this about 3 days ago and I'm shocked at how good the Mint service is and the phone quality.

After my 3 months are up, I'm going to prepay fit the whole year

have had multiple moto g phones. all are solid phones for many people who don't need great cameras nor flagship specs, like older parents. buying these new ensures new batteries and less problems and maintenance than buying a better spec used phones that require troubleshooting.
