Codenames Undercover is not nearly as good as Codenames and the Codenames Pictures versions of the game. It's just not nearly as clever as it wants to be; the originals are a lot more fun.

Potion Explosion [boardgamegeek.com], however, is a hugely underrated game. You take turns picking marbles that represent ingredients needed to make the potions they need to win the game. If you like Spendor, Mastermind, or other cerebral party games it's a good pick with really cool thematic elements. Check out its review in the aforementioned link.

"Secrets" (on sale) and "One Night Werewolf" (not on sale) variants are, in my opinion, all very similar. I personally like Secret Hitler (not listed here), but the style of play is all very similar in terms of bluffing games. If you've never played a, "Who is the Werewolf?" game, One Night Ultimate Vampire (listed here) is fun. You really only need one of those types of games, though, in my opinion.

Happy gaming.

Onitama is an excellent game. It's very similar to chess, but much simpler. The strategy is straight forward, and the games last anywhere from 5-20 minutes. Highly recommend for couples.

Offered me 15% off as a new customer too for entering my email.

That Game of Thrones card game is very well reviewed at BGG, one place behind Keyforge in the "Customizable" category:

https://boardgamegeek.com/boardga...nd-edition

EDIT: Just tried the 15% off code and "Toys & Games" are excluded. Comes to $24.99 with shipping, which is $10 cheaper than Amazon. Would have snapped it up if I could have used the code and picked it up in store.

I also got those, I didn't know about Dead of Winter but I was able to find Dead of Winter the Long Night in my store also for 50% off. It's a stand alone expansion.

I'm unfamiliar with the LCG concept. If I buy one GoT game box for $20, is that enough cards/materials for 2-4 players to play together?

Or does each player need their own $20 game to build/select their own decks?

As you seem to be well informed with board games, how does Secrets compare to One Night Werewolf and Resistance? I love Resistance but not as fun unless it's a big group and I don't care much for Werewolf.

It depends really. If you want to play the same house or character in a LCG you need a box for each person that wants to play that specific house in that game.

But, who wants to do that? In the box you can play as many that are on the box (GoT is 2-4) with different houses.

Some people say they want extra boxes also because there's not enough neutral card copies for everyone to have that specific one in their deck, but there are enough neutral cards for everyone to have a unique deck.

Other LCG games (Like Arkham Horror) allow 2 players from the base game, and 2 additional players if you buy another box (because there are not enough copies of some cards to create more than 2 decks per box)

There are some good games here. I highly recommend Smile. It is a light card game that is good for the whole family. Recommended for kids if they are 8+.

Check out this unboxing of the game to see if you would like it: https://youtu.be/sL0E4x7VzcE
