Great price for the brushed version. Home depot, etc $125. Amazon usually $120-140.
Lowest on ccc is around $110 in last five years.

Brushless version has much better battery life, but for the typical home DIYer with some dewalt batteries laying around, this might be interesting.

Needed something to drill into concrete. I was considering the brushless, but at this price, hard to pass.

Tool is brushed like you said, but you reference brushed several times when I think you meant to say brushless...

With that being said, great price on a heck of a drill. While the brushless has its place, you'd have to do an insane amount of drilling to necessitate a brushless. A brushless impact driver is worth your money, but you aren't drilling as much as you are driving.

I just paid $179 for a brushless with a 5hr battery at CPO. I think this your deal is probably better given how little drilling into concrete most people will do.

Before DeWalt came out with their brushless-motor offerings, I believe that this was DeWalt's top-of-the-line cordless hammer drill/driver (so it's no slouch of a drill).

I have had this drill for a while, really been quite happy with it, and it has seen plenty of use and abuse.

I've never had issues with dewalt drills - until drilling into concrete. I guess the vibration causes the wires inside to come loose and the drill no longer functions. I'd stick to a corded drill for hammer drill personally.

Found it for $59 in So Cal. Used a $10 off $50 coupon and got it for $53 with tax. Add in 10% back from American Express and 6% from CB sites and it's a killer deal. Nice find OP.
