Is that tire deal any good? $70 plus the $60 if you use the citi card
probably you have to pay installation fee? Then the same as before: $70 off + $0.01 installation fee.

Just tried the Kirkland TP since there wasn't a coupon on the Charmin. Can't wait to use it up. I don't like it at all. Feels cheap and not strong enough. Have to use more.
If it sucks that bad, then just return it. Tell them you're unhappy with quality of the said product and Costco will give you a full refund. (doesn't matter if you've already used some of the rolls).

Who told you that it's only a penny? The installation fee is $56.00 at my local costco store and there is no discount on that. The installation fee is the same whether you use the Citi Card or not. We took advantage of this promotion last June when I saw the deal. Paid $431 out the door including taxes for a set of 4 Michelin tires. Just to clarify: it's $70 off a set of 4 Michelin tires and an additional $60 off if you decide to use the Costco branded Citi Card.

One more thing to note:

If you decide to apply for the Costco Citi Visa card and use it on this deal, you'll earn 2% cashback from Costco + 2% from Citi for a total of 4% cashback. Like i said, I paid $431 out the door for my tires and I earned ~$17 cashback for a net total of $414.

Current Glad trash bags really suck. They added some kind of "fragrance" to them even the unscented ones that smell horrible. Worse than garbage. Glad I only got a small box.

Anyone know how the Kirkland ones are?
Trash bags are okay. They used to be better before the "stretch" model came out, which seems to be a little thinner and more likely to tear on sharper objects. However, it's still good enough and does the job.

The Kirkland TP really went down the drain from the past. The paper towels are still great though.

My local Costco had the 1 penny installation fee special recently. I don't think the other poster was saying it was always 1 penny.

Now it looks like they are offering a version where they give you enough back on the Citi card to cover installation and then some instead of offering 1 penny installs to everyone.

Have you tried the Amazon brand? We love them the best and they are cheaper, they have a nice texture that grabs all the poo.

In what way? I've been trying to use up a megapack of the Marathon TP. That stuff is worse than the Kirkland, in that it's almost as coarse as Scott's 1000-sheet rolls.

For a brief time they had Kirkland TP that was just like Charmin. I bought like 10-15 packages that lasted us like 2 years it seems. They discontinued it only a month or 2 later, and sadly never brought it back. So, one we ran out we switched back to Charmin. That Kirkland stuff is cheap, but almost worthless...
