$4.98 for me, too, as a "new lower price."

These are awful. Blade changing is a pain.

Agreed, my Lowe's or maybe it was HD has bins of these exact same ones without the Craftsman logo for 99 cents. I wouldn't pay $1 for these again.

Bought the two pack. You need to unscrew the handle to get to the blade storage and blade mount. The screw for one of mine stripped on the first try.
The blade mount on the second one sucks and feels loose

I have one of these. It's junk. The blades get jammed and no amount of cleaning fixes it.

Reviews on Craftsman ones are awful. I'm in on Kobalt ones though.

This version tends to chew up your hands if cutting a lot of sheet rock, but they are good for random cutting.

The Kobalt one looks the same as what they sell at Harbor Freight for $6, although HF doesn't include any extra blades. HF actually has two that are similar, but I prefer this one with the unlock button on the side, rather than the edge: https://www.harborfreight.com/fol...62358.html

Get a 20% off coupon for HF at http://www.hfqpdb.com/ and it's a better deal.

Only disadvantage is the HF ones don't allow you to store extra blades in the handle.

CORRECTION: The Kobalt one is a much better deal ... didn't realize that price is for a 3 pack of utility knives, plus blades.
