I can't speak for others but my experience:

AUKEY MicroUSB cables broke all the time at the tip or quit working
AUKEY Multiport USB Charging bricks 1 out of 3 failed under a year. 2nd one had a few ports that stopped working over time.

I am reluctant to buy their power banks because the attractive couponed pricing was what got me to trying them out. For the money, not worth the inconsistent reliability especially when I traveled for work quite a bit.

Read the 3 star and under reviews.

Bulging battery pack. Stopped charging. QC Fast Charge stops working

Also note in the Q/A that although the unit provides fast charging to other devices, it can not be fast charged. 20,000mAh can take forever to recharge.

Thanks OP but I think I'll pass.

Not worth it for a trivial $10-20 difference vs better devices. Would you trust your $800+ phone over $20?

This is better choice here at the below link because it has power delivery making it charge faster for at least iPhones with USB-C. Also higher wattage. Also it discounts if clipped coupon, same price.

AUKEY Power Delivery Power Bank, 10000mAh PD Power Bank, 18W USB-C Portable Charge... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079Z4R...2CbH8DP1FK

I bought a 10,000 mAh Aukey battery about 2 years ago for $6 that I've been very happy with. I would probably not replace that unless this one went under $20, or it stopped working.

How are these compared to Anker's power banks?

I like Anker but for the price / utility I got the 10,000 mAh version of this and it works very nicely. USB-C, fast charge on my Note 8. I would recommend Aukey.

i got both brands and both are very identical to each other. I tend to carry my Aukey more though because it has the input charge via lightning cable... thats one less cable i need to bring with me.

Each lacks certain features....weak or mediocre total output.. no quick charging itself..etc.. it's ok if you need right now, but this looks more like worth $20 flat ....

the slim model is very aesthetically pleasing at least. and practical enough with all those port options, probably fits a typical apple fan who doesn't have quick charging anyway.

The other model is just a massive brick lol...

$28 for either one does still feel a bit steep all things considered.

I have 4 of these and the form factor is great. They're only 18w in/out, but the thin size makes these very convenient.
