The fenix plus series can store and play music. This one does not. Still a great watch though. Has the sapphire glass which is scratch resistant.

What makes you say there is no warranty? Since it is new, it must be warranty by Garmin which has a good reputation.

because it's sold on massgenie by "dealgurus", they are NOT authorized sellers. try to bring this unit to garmin for repair and they ask for your receipt. they see it's from massgenie and tell you to fark off.

Not sure if the wrist HR is the same on this or not, but I have the Forerunner 645 music and the wrist heart rate monitor is the most laughably bad of any heart rate monitor I have ever used.

When exercising if I switch back and forth between the chest strap and the wrist HR the wrist is off by 60+ bpm. All of my previous fitness trackers were off by 5-10 bpm but never anything like this.

Thanks for this. I was stressing if I should get this or a 645 music or wait 6 months to save money and buy a 945. But your report is my story for other brands also. Apple Watch 1 and 2, Fitbit blaze and Fitbit Ionic. All are good only for jogging. After 140-150 range they go stupid. By this I mean report 44bpm after running 3 miles (threadmill bpm read 188). Lifting weights confuses it also saying 90 bpm down to 50 So it's good for sleep, sitting still ,walking and jogging only. Now I got to decide if I should try jabra elite sport in headphones. Or suck it up and use nothing or wait till taxes and buy 945 and chest strap. 😡
