If it is really a $809 laptop it would have a touch screen.

Man, you should increase your knowledge base a bit. 5000 is the name of the series and this specific model is 5370 and you did not get that easy thing. The link below and I am highlighting the part. Looks like spoon feeding is the only way to make you understand.

And I have no idea how you are checking when the link is clearly given. looks like proper web browsing is another thing which should be added to your learning list.
I love someone getting angry about a post about laptops. Seems your life is going well. And just to make it clear, here's another link that shows exactly what I and many others here are seeing. It clearly says Vostro 13 5000 for this specific laptop right next to another that says Vostro 13 5370. If Dell is wrong, instead of your panties getting in a bunch, maybe take time to click the link.

Sorry if I might be missing something here. I'm not trying to argue. Your link leads to the Vostro 5000 model, not the 5370 model as expressed in your title. The 5000 model is $809. Here is the link to the 5370 model, which is not the price, specs, or link that you provided.

Bro, there is no such 5000 Model. 5000 is the series and 5370 is the 13.3" model under it. The link you have given is the same laptop with beefed up spec (i7 8550U, Radeon 530 Graphics and 512GB SSD).
The link I have given or in this post, is the 5370 model with i5, 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD and integrated Graphics and costs $809 before the coupon. Try to understand that. In fact, in my previous post, I have given you the exact link of the deal whether which clearly mentioned that it is a 5370. Not sure, why you are not getting this simple point.

And from your link you did not get that 5000 is the name of a series and the 13.3" model called 5370....and there are two versions with different specs.

How much us Win 10 "Pro" worth? Most of the other laptops all have Win 10 Home.

Confirm: 3000 and 5000 are series, not specific model.

Seriously.... Just click on the Laptop which says Vostro 5000 and go to the product page. After that, just check the URL of that product page. Or, simply add it to cart and go to the check out page and then click on the View Full Spec button and see what it says. I am also attaching a screenshot....Man seriously..this thread is full of comments about this silly thing which clearly indicates that most people like spoon feeding and thread crapping.

Voatro 5370 = 5000 series (middle of 3000 and 7000 series, the 3 means 13 inch, 70 is generation, 0 means laptop not 2 in 1). If you saw an inspiron 7780 its same thing. 7000 series (high end inspiron) , 17 inch, generation 80. Inspiron. Inspiron 3180 = 3000 (low end), 11 inch. Generation 80. Etc.

To hopefully assist with clearing the name issue up. It looks like just a bit of a misunderstanding is all Smilie

As mentioned:
  • The laptop in this post belongs to the overarching Vostro 13 5000 series of laptops.
  • This exact configuration in that series carries the model # 5370. As said, the link to the config in the post has 5370 in the URL:
    • /laptops/13/spd/vostro-13-5370-laptop/CAV135W10PC21123V2
  • The 5370 comes in a few variants as shown in the link shared by solstys here
  • The one on sale in this post is the 5370 that comes with an Intel i5 processor (marked $809 - coupon = $499); and the other in that link is also the 5370, just with an Intel i7 processor (marked $1099, but the BIZLT499 coupon isn't valid on that one).
Using desktop view in your web browser on Dell's website, add the one for sale in the post to cart. At the top, it will still say Vostro 13 5000, but if you click 'View full specs', it reveals the more specific model # for this configuration (5370).

As an example, the Intel Core i5-8250U processor that's in this laptop belongs to the overall Core i5-8000 series of processors (the 'U' denoting it is a laptop chipset). Similar concepts. Hope this helps Smilie

EDIT: Suryasis beat me to it.

Just click on the link and scroll down, you will see the comparison. I tried to post a screenshot, but I don't know how.
