Does anyone know if this will charge with 45W quick charge type C cell phone charger?

Also, in this price range, how much lighter can I conceivably get? Have a 4.6lbs thinkpad e420 that feels like a brick. This is only 1.5lbs lighter (but maybe that is enough to notice)

Tell that to my wife.. I had to return a laptop bc she "needed a touch screen "
To each their own. But really, why does she need it? Me personally, a good laptop with Logitech Anywhere mouse and I'm good. Work flow is much faster than having to touch anything on screen.

They may look same but the material used in Chassis and certain other areas are different. Also, the keyboard is different than any Inspiron 5000 series, has extra TPM module for Security. Abd conclusion based on just looking at the picture is not a good idea. There are YouTube video available for both the models....check them and you'll notice the difference.
They're stripped out Inspirons with extra bits for business. Unless you need these things, they really are the same thing.

Vostros ARE Inspirons. OP might throw a fit talking about chassis materials and TPM modules, but you know better. The Inspiron 13 5370 is identical to this Vostro

actually touch screen are pretty helpful. you gotta get use to it. its not a replacement for a good mouse or touch pad it's more like an addition. like if you have an extra inch in your penis.

Here are some senario:
- playing PC games that are based on touch screen games feels more natural like tower defense games. or whack a moe type games where quick onscreen clicks are critical. Android emulation is really nice with a touchscreen and one of those foldable 2 in one.
- when working on the laptop a program or a website there are a button near the bottom half of the screen. it is quicker to just lift your hand and tap the screen button than take your hands off the keyboard and go move the mouse or use your thumb to move the trackpad to get the mouse into prosition and then tap the touchpad to click.

Very ugly bezels but 14" Latitude would cost twice as much. I would rather go with HP.

And you may blabber as much as you want but that does not make it truth. Can you provide any link, review or discussion where it has been said that Vostro are basically Inspiron? I bet you cannot because that is not the case. So, blabber as much as you want, it will not make it truth. What's your next Claim....latitudes are XPS.

Upload pictures of the Inspiration series Laptop, along with a valid link which exactly looks like this Vostro and then we will listen. Until then,,,it is thread crapping with your ill-informed posts.

Wrong. I have one and USB-C charging works perfectly.

It's a pretty nice laptop in general. Complaints I have:
  • Giant bezels
  • LCD viewing angles (160 deg) - not great for a supposedly IPS display
  • Razor sharp edge, so no resting your wrist on it when typing

Performs pretty well even with a SATA SSD.

Both SSD and RAM are upgradeable.
I just got the 14" version that was posted a couple of weeks ago. Overall its a very nice and solid laptop, although I have the same complaints and will add that the trackpad click is a little loud.

To the bolded, the sharp corners is a real issue. I honestly can't believe this design passed through R&D and went into production this way. If you rest your wrists on the corners it is literally painful. I have debated sending it back and I reached out to Dell to ask about return shipping/restocking fees and they offered me a $25 discount to NOT return it. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of refurbs coming up that were returns just for this issue.

Dell horrible customer service experience. I bought this laptop and when I go and I see the order items list it shows a different configuration. Arggghh!
